THE SHORT BIBLE
The Short Bible is the full-length version that has 25 chapters and is more than 400 pages long. It is written at a high school reading level (it has the most complex vocabulary and sentence structure). It also has an audiobook version. (The print and audiobook versions are also available in Spanish.) It comes in a hardcover version.

THE SIMPLIFIED SHORT BIBLE
The Simplified Short Bible is a shorter version that is also easier to read (shorter sentences, less-complex vocabulary) -- it is written at a 6th grade reading level. To make it shorter, fewer psalms are provided (three instead of 13) and some of the stories have been "sanitized" for younger readers. There are also fewer direct quotes, which makes the appendix with scripture references shorter. It does not have an audio version. (This version is available in Portuguese, Tagalog, and will soon be available in German and French.)

THE VERY SHORT BIBLE
The Very Short Bible is an even shorter version of the Simplified Short Bible (about 230 pages) and can be read in 1-2 days. Physically, it is a smaller book (5" x 8"). It has no glossary of key terms, no study/reflection questions, no pronunciation guide, and no suggestions for further reading. An audio version will be available in English in August 2024. It will be translated into many other languages that are spoken in areas of the world where most of the people have never read the Bible. (It is now available in Spanish in paperback, ebook, and audio versions.)

The Condensed Story of the Old and New Testaments
All the books have the same maps, which are also available to download for free from the Short Bible website. These are available especially for those who listen to the audiobook. In addition, the reflection/study questions and the pronunciation guide can also be downloaded for free using the links at the bottom of the home page of www.shortbible.com. All the books are available in e-book formats. Some books are out of print but will become available again soon from Byblio Press.
